Mission
Statement
The mission of the Institute for Advanced Studies is to develop
the research of the University of Bristol by facilitating visits by
scholars from the UK and overseas and encouraging inter- and cross-disciplinary
research, including collaborations with industry and the cultural
sector. It seeks to provide resources and create conditions under
which people come together to generate ideas that might otherwise
not see the light of day.
