Description
Pallas is an Institute for Historical, Art-historical and Literary Studies. Within Literary Studies there is expertise in the field of Dutch, French, German, English, Frisian, Italian, South American (Spanish-language), Slavonic, and Greek and Latin literature and culture, Book and Digital Media Studies, and Theatre and Film Studies. Pallas strives, by means of theoretical and methodical pluriformity, for interdisciplinary collaboration within the Institute, within the faculty (collaboration with the ‘non-Western’ section of the faculty enjoys particular attention), with other faculties (Archaeology, Theology, Creative and Performing Arts, Law, Social Sciences and Philosophy), and with universities and para-university institutions and museums within the Netherlands and abroad.
