Mission
Statement
Through a wide range of scholarly exchanges, research opportunities,
lectures and seminars, the Humanities Institute provides a stimulating
intellectual environment for dialogue about ourselves, our relationships
with each other, and the ways in which we can all contribute to the
moral and social progress of our global society. The Institute creates
forums in which students, faculty, and member the greater community
can learn from and work with renowned scholars and contemporary thinkers
who will encourage us to re-examine, re-evaluate, reform or reaffirm
our most basic assumptions about ourselves and our world. |
